August 3, 2005
www.iaeifl.org Charles Crain called the meeting to order on, August 3, 2005 at the Quality Riverfront Inn in Palatka at 11:55 AM.
Present at the meeting were: John Griffin, Charles Crain, Taylor Sams, Jimmy Douglas, Jim Lindahl, Dallas Stratton, Richard Davis, Phil Dunnington, Joff Filion, Morris Reed, Floyd Green, James Drummond, Cliff Wilson, Ernie Winfree, Edwin Garcia, Dennis King, Tom Moran, Phil Higgerson, and Alan Waters.
The minutes were approved as sent out; John Griffin gave the invocation and led The Pledge of Allegiance.
Treasury Report: Dallas Stratton reported all bills are paid and we are solvent.
Old Business: Charles Crain brought a copy of what St. Johns Co. will be requiring for information regarding generator for Optional Standby Systems. Next month we will discuss this further in detail.
New Business: Cliff Wilson asked a question regarding a parallel service. Could he install a combination meter-disconnect with provisions for two separate 200-amp breakers and feed a 400-amp main lug panel with 2- 4/0 SER cables inside the residence. This question was tabled due to time restraints and should be discussed in next months meeting.
Phil Higgerson and Tom Moran from Hilti Co. came in and gave us a quite an informative showing of fire stop products and their proper usage. Thanks to Phil and Tom for coming in.
Education: Time restraints did not allow.
Charles Crain pulled Tom Morgan’s name from the hat to win the 50/50 drawing again. Lucky Tom.
The next meeting will be held at the Quality Inn in Palatka at 12:00 noon September 7, 2005.
