In another forum there is a discussion about how many receptacles you can have on one circuit and how many circuits are required for general lighting. The example is a 2500 sq/ft house and the answer they agree on is (62.5a) you need 5 15a circuits or 4 20s. OK that makes sense. Now does 220.14(J)(1) say the bathrooms are included in that number?
If I have 3 bathrooms on 3 individual 20a circuits, can I have the rest of the house on ONE?
I know that is not the intent and we would never let them get away with it but it is certainly some clunky language in the code here. Has this been addressed in the 2008 ROP?
