Old Business: Don Brindley spoke with Mr. Spivey @ ECLB Thursday, and he was informed that Electrical Contractors that only installed Residential Smoke Alarms are also required to take the two hour False Alarm Course for License renewal in August 2006; Smoke Alarms are regulated in accordance with NFPA 72, Alarm Code.
All contractors licensed thru either CILB or ECLB must have a 1-hour CEU in Advanced
Module, This is a requirement from DCA; I do not have this 1 hour course, they can get it FREE on the Internet, on the following link http://www.contractorslearning.com/signup click on the Board you are licensed under (i.e. "construction" "electrical") then follow the prompts to enter the necessary information and continue on to the course; When completed they will electronically submit the course completion to the State & E-mail you your certificate of completion.
If you have any problem they can call Contractors Institute 1-877-542-3673.

New Business: Due to conflicting seminars and meetings attendees where small this month. We mostly shared experiences through out our electrical careers.
