Richard Davis called the meeting to order on, May 2, 2007 at the Golden Corral Restaurant in Palatka at 12:00 PM.

Present at the meeting were: John Griffin, Dallas Stratton, Cliff Wilson, Jimmy Douglas, Edwin Garcia, Don Brindley, Mark Nechvatal, Joe McGowen, Richard Davis, Charles Crain, Charlie Mini, Jim Lindahl, Robert Marvel, Don Schlueter, Taylor Sams, Kevin D Morgan, SP Trimarchie, Jerry Kindman, Larry Woodrome, Dwight Wilkes, Jeff Small, Casty Hobbs, Andrew Schirmacher, Glenn Brown, and Alan L Waters.

Treasury Report: Dallas Stratton reported that all bills are paid and we are solvent.
Old Business: We had looked at a sample of a Romex splice connector at the last meeting; these will work as long as you do not seal them into a wall, etc.
New Business: This year’s By-Laws where approved as is, signed and sent to the Florida Chapter.
A motion was made and approved to purchase a plaque for the retiring Division President.
The nominating committee suggested the following members for office for the next term:
President- Jimmy Douglas
Vice President- Robert Marvel
Secretary- Alan L Waters
Treasurer- Dallas Stratton
Membership and Education- Gordon “Don” Brindley
Dwight Wilkes resigned from the State Board of the IAEI and Richard Davis was sworn in as his replacement.
The # 8 bonding for pools was discussed.
Jeff Small gave a presentation on GFCI

The next meeting will be held at the “Golden Corral” Restaurant in Palatka at 12:00 noon June 6, 2007.

From US17 take US19 South
Approx. ¼ mile south of the intersection with SR100 on the Left.
