Secretary’s Report February 19, 2003
President Lee Wansor called the meeting to order at 12:10 p.m. Present was Second Vice President Jim Sennello, Third Vice President Frank Crandon, Secretary/ Treasurer Ted Licitra, Past President Tarry Baker, Directors Bill Bender, Al Bostwick, Dave Cake, Jack Fisher, Joe McCann, Associates Dave Appler, Pat Christiano, Jim Joesph, John Sims and Ed Zymroz.
The secretary’s report and the treasurer’s report was given and accepted. And after a financial report of expenses and income for last year was presented and discussed Lee suggested a budget for this year should be made up.
Committee Reports
Lee distributed paper work that listed his wishes for committee assignments for this year and a copy of operating rules that is based on what the Florida Chapter is using now. The committee assignments are as follows.
By Laws Chairman Steve Mitchell, Tom Bray, Joe McCann, Frank Crandon, and Tarry Baker.
Legislative Chairman Steve Mitchell, Tarry Baker, Dave Cake Frank Crandon and John Simmons.
Education & Code Clearing Chairman Tarry Baker, Jack Fisher, Joe McCann and John Simmons. Tarry still has hope the State will adopt the 2002 NEC in June.
Membership Chairman Steve Mitchell, Jim Sennello, Jim Sugg, Jim Joesph, Dave Appler, Ed Zymroz and Ted Licitra.
Public Relations and Publicity Chairman Dave Cake, Pat Christiano, Ken Kotrady, Gary Simon and John Sims. Dave suggested instead of sending flowers to members who are hospitalized we make up a greeting type card that can we can send out.
Accident and Sickness Chairman Ted Licitra, Al Bostwick, Frank Crandon and Bill Bender.
Entertainment Chairman Jim Sennello, Bill Bender, Ed Zimroz, Dave Cake.
Fiscal Affairs As per rules
Scholarship Chairmen Steve Mitchell, Lee Wansor.
Nominations As per rules.
Good of the Association Dave Appler our Associate member from FPL announced his upcoming retirement and will bring his replacement to our next meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 1 P.M. so Tarry could start the education which was presented by Douglas Rudd of Coastal Construction Products. The class was on fire stopping and was attended by 73 people.
