Secretary Report September 21,2005


President Jim Sennello called the September meeting to order at 12:15 p.m. Present at the meeting was President Jim Sennello, Second Vice President Jack Fisher, Third Vice President Jim Sugg, Past President Steve Mitchell, Secretary Treasurer Ted Licitra, Directors Tarry Baker, Bill Bender, Carlo DiBon, Pat Richardson, and Associate Members Pat Cristiano, Ken Gilbert, Gary Simon and John Sims.

Committee reports:

Nominating Committee was formed to select the proposed Board of Directors for 2006. The committee will consist of Jack Fisher, Steve Mitchell and I.

Golf Tournament: Jim Sennello was instructed to roll all monies collected for the golf tournament back into the tournament for prizes and hand outs for the players.

Scholarship; Their was some discussion about setting up another scholarship separate from the one we now have with Broward Community College. A start up pride of $1500 to $2000 was mentioned as some of the parameters for the scholarship. Steve Mitchell will look into the possibilities for us.

Education: The possibilities of having an 8 hour Saturday seminar was also discussed at this meeting. Their will be a chance of getting John Minic and Mark Ode to come down and put one for us.

Florida Chapter Meeting: The meeting this year will be held at the Coco Beach Hilton. Tarry, Steve, I and possibly others will be attending the meeting.

The meeting was adjourned at 1 p. m. so Tarry can start the education portion of the meeting.
