Working as an inspector, BO decides to make a directive that is a blatant code violation is the inspector held liable?

My suggestion is that you consult your city/county attorney. If you are not given access to your employer’s attorney, I would suggest you consult a private attorney with this issue.

How can an inspector be held liable when he is enforcing a state law? I do not agree with this law, but then again I do not agree with the 55 MPH speed limits either. The law is the law.
