Robert Marvel called the meeting to order on October 3, 2007 at the Golden Corral Restaurant in Palatka at 12:00 PM. John Griffin led us in Prayer & the Pledge.

Present at the meeting were: Dallas Stratton, Edwin Garcia, Don Brindley, Mark Nechvatal, Fernando Gonzalez, Joff Filion, Andrew Schirmacher, John Griffin, Charles Crain, Phil Dunnington, Don Schlueter, Charles Grebe, Charlie Mini, Joe McGowen, Larry Woodrome, Jerry Hindman, Wayne Zeigler, Glen Brown, Robert Marvel, Richard Davis, Mike Brooks, Marty Kennett, and Alan L Waters.

Treasury Report: Dallas Stratton reported that all bills are paid and we are solvent.

Old Business: None
New Business: The North Florida Division is in charge of the May 2008 State Convention. This is a large undertaking, and Dallas Stratton has been working on this project for a while now. He is in need of committee chairpersons and volunteers willing to help. If you can help please contact Dallas @ (904)827-6836.

St. Johns County wanted to remind us that the use of the combination type AFCI will start being enforced on January 1, 2008. (Also the disconnecting means at certain luminaries and section 210.12)

Education & Membership: Don Brindley read some excerpts from the I-power Magazine.
Membership is at 183.
Overall membership is very low, to the point where if we want to have an organization to be a part of we had better increase it.

The next meeting will be held at the “Golden Corral” Restaurant in Palatka at 12:00 noon November 7, 2007.
