#498 - 10/02/06 02:58 PM Webcast or conference call IAEI meetings?

Can we start thinking about whether we we can webcast or confrerenc call the IAEI meetings. Attendance is not always what we would like and I think a good part of it is the travel time involved.
For me, it is a 100 mile round trip and there are another couple municipalities south of me. If we could "attend" the actual meeting part online or via a conference call it would certainly be easier on the folks who are far away.

I will bring this issue up at the October meeting Greg.

The Gulf Coast Chapter covers all counties from Manatee to Collier so Charlotte County is a good central location, but I understand your concern.

We generally get good participation from Charlotte, North Port, Venice, Sarasota County, Punta Gorda, Cape Coral, and various Private Providers. I don't think I have ever seen a Lee County and South, or Manatee County attendee.

This months meeting is on October 18th in Port Charlotte.
