IAEI Treasure Coast Chapter


April 9th, 2008 Chapter Meeting

Secretary Vince Della Croce called the meeting to order at 4:05pm

Mickey Ferrell from LEVITON gave a presentation concerning occupancy sensors and tamper resistant receptacles.

A roll call of officers was taken.

Treasurer Tom Haldane reported the chapter was solvent.

Vince Della Croce read the minutes from the March meeting.

Old business:
*Vince Della Croce:
- reported the package from the IO had arrived and all chapter information was included. The by-laws were included and more information would follow at the next meeting.
-reminded all contractors CUE credits were due August. Palm Beach County has a seminar planned in June concerning Grounding & Bonding and Building Officials Association of Florida has classes set for the 24th and 25th of April that will cover most of the requirements. Information could be found at iaeifl.org and Building Officials Association of Florida.net

New business:
*Peter Spirito spoke about Energy Code requirements and occupancy sensors
*Vice President Bryant Harrison spoke about NM cable and their uses when permitted and not permitted
