Jimmy Douglas called the meeting to order on May 1, 2008 at the Golden Corral Restaurant in Palatka at 12:00 PM. John Griffin led us in Prayer & the Pledge.

Present at the meeting were: Dallas Stratton, John Griffin, Jimmy Douglas, Taylor Sams, Andrew Schirmacher, Joff Filion, Don Schlueter, Edwin Garcia, Richard Davis, Ron Rowe, Mark Nechvatal, Raymond Smith, Whitney Pritchard, Charles Crain, and Michael O’Reilly

Treasury Report: Dallas Stratton reported that all bills are paid and we are solvent.

Old Business: There was a brief discussion about the upcoming State seminar and code conference. It was mentioned that there would be a meeting after this meeting to go over final details

New Business: Jimmy Douglas appointed Richard Davis as the Nominating Committee Chairman for the next slate of Division officers.

Education & Membership: Michael O’Reilly with Leviton gave a short presentation about how the 2008 NEC affects receptacles. It was very informative, many thanks to Michael.

The meeting was adjourned @ 12:30 p.m. to start the State Seminar meeting.


The next meeting will be held at the “Golden Corral” Restaurant in Palatka at 12:00 noon June 4, 2008.
