Jimmy Douglas called the meeting to order on June 4, 2008 at the Golden Corral Restaurant in Palatka at 12:00 PM. John Griffin led us in Prayer & the Pledge.

Present at the meeting were: Dallas Stratton, Jimmy Douglas, Don Schlueter, Richard Davis, Ron Rowe, Phil Dunnington, Dwight Wilkes, Jim Lindahl, Greg Ferrone, Charles Grebe, Wes Colley, Joff Filion, Tom McDonald, John Griffin, Taylor Sams, Andrew Schirmacher, Don Brindley, Larry Cogburn, Edwin Garcia, Charles Crain, and Alan L. Waters

Treasury Report: Dallas Stratton reported that all bills are paid and we are solvent.

Old Business: Jimmy Douglas mentioned and thanked all involved in putting on the 78th Annual State Conference.

New Business: John Griffin discussed a job where the inspector is requiring the M.C. cables between light fixtures to be strapped. We discussed code articles 300.11 & 330.30

Don Brindley talked about the Square D counterfeit breakers.

Wes Colley from the ECF (Electrical Council of Florida) discussed their organization starting a Chapter in N. Florida.

Richard Davis, the Chairman for the Nominating Committee for the Officers of our Division announced the nominees. No one was selected for Vice President so Richard Davis was nominated from the floor.
