New Business:
Everyone was given a copy of the chapter by-laws to review. Joe Ferreira announced that there will be a plumbers meeting the first Wednesday of each month. Joe also brought to attention to look out for counterfeit Square D breakers. Joe informed the group that the requirements for photovoltaic permits are not completed yet.

There was a discussion about carbon monoxide detectors as required by FS 553.885(4). Joe F. informed the group that the requirements would coincide with permits dated on or after July 1, 2008. The discussion about the use of NM cable in garages as brought up in a previous meeting was again tabled.
New questions to be addressed at next meeting are:
1) Disconnect requirements for fixtures as per NEC 410.73(G)
2) Installation of UFER grounds and visqueen?
3) Are bushings required on the supplied flex conduits between transfer switches and existing load centers?
Meeting was adjourned at 6:50 pm
Respectfully submitted,
Terry Bruton (sitting in for Vincent Della Croce)
