IAEI Treasure Coast Chapter Meeting

President Joe Ferreira called the meeting to order at 4:05 pm.

Bonnie Dodds and Leon Sun from Integrated Metering Systems gave a presentation concerning sub-metering. They explained their products are capable of sub-metering apartment buildings, shopping centers, hospitals, office buildings, marinas and industrial locations.

A roll call of officers was taken.

Treasurer Tom Haldane reported the division was solvent.

Joe Ferreira introduced Bob Zrallack, President ofSolar Energy Systems. Bob spoke and answered questions concerning photovoltaic installations. Topics of discussion included rebates, incentives, products, licensing and installation requirements.

Old business:
*Secretary Vince DellaCroce reminded all contractors of CEU requirements. Also in a response to an email to all for feedback on a possible time and or location change to the monthly meeting, the very limited response was to keep the current time and place with no change.

New business:
*Vince DellaCroce spoke concerning overhead masts and 230.28 plus the FPL requirements for overhead masts.
*Discussion followed concerning how to increase membership and attendance at the meeting. Contractors were encouraged to have their employees attend.
