Continuing Education: Members who attended both CEU classes in June and July will have certificates available at this meeting

Janelle's Law: A carbon monoxide alarm will be required in every building (residential and
commercial) for which a building permit is issued for new construction on or after July 1, 2008, and having a fossil-fuel-burning heater or appliance, a fireplace, or an attached garage. The carbon monoxide alarm will need to be installed within 10 feet of each room used for sleeping purposes

Yellow Sticker - There has been a lot of e-mail concerning solar photovoltaic systems. Regarding FSS 489.105(O) “Solar Contractor” you need to look at Administrative Rule 61G4-15.021 “Certification of Solar Contractors” to see what limitations there are and when an EC or ER will be required. Discussion is encouraged.

The 2010 Florida Chapter meeting to be held in Tampa by the Suncoast Division. Committee selections and assignments are encouraged for discussion.

Classes will be held at ECF Education Center, 6107 –B Memorial Highway, Tampa 33615 .Classes start at 8:00 AM
