IAEI Treasure Coast Chapter Meeting

President Joe Ferreira called the meeting to order at 4:05pm

A roll call of officers was taken

Secretary Vince Della Croce made a motion to accept the minutes of the October meeting as emailed. The motion was seconded and accepted.

Treasurer Tom Haldane reported the division was solvent.

Old business:
*Secretary Vince Della Croce reported that over 100 phone calls were being made by volunteers in our division to local electrical contractors in an attempt to attract new members to our meetings. The information collected from the calls would be used to follow up and communicate with contractors on the importance of joining the division
Vince also reported that a 2009 code change seminar was being planned for sometime in March. John Minick from NFPA was contacted and Vince was awaiting his call back for more information.
New business:
*Joe Ferreira reported the following concerning the City of Port St. Lucie
1- John Heald and Bill Laslett were no longer working in the building dept.
2- sub contractor permits are required to be submitted prior to the meter inspection of a single family residence
*John Pankraz from Elite Electric volunteered to present information concerning profit and loss statements at our next meeting
*Tom Haldane reminded all of the Nov. 19th TCBA meeting at 5:30pm
*Vince Della Croce led a lengthy discussion concerning 110.26A-G which is to be continued at a future meeting.
