Robert Marvel called the meeting to order on December 3, 2008 at the Golden Corral Restaurant in Palatka at 12:00 PM. John Griffin led us in Prayer & the Pledge.

Present at the meeting were:
Dallas Stratton, Jimmy Douglas, Robert Marvel, Wes Colley, Charles Crain, Donald Schlueter, John Griffin, Joff Filion, Andrew Schirmacher, Danny Padgett, Don Brindley, Edwin Garcia, Dwight Wilkes, Phil Dunnington, Ron Rowe, Dave Branum, Joe McGowen, Randy Leonard, Taylor Sams, Jeff Burke, Tom Heffernan, Len Godbold, Nelson Bonilla, and Alan Waters.

A motion was made to accept last month’s minutes as written, it was seconded. The motion carried.

Treasury Report: Dallas Stratton reported that all bills are paid and we are solvent. A motion was made to approve the Treasurer’s report and pay all bills. A second was made. The motion carried.

Old Business: Dwight Wilkes stated that there is to be a TAC meeting set for next week and then again in February. At this point the 2008 NEC will not become effective until July at the soonest. Once a firm date is set we will let you know.
A plaque showing this Divisions appreciation for all of Cogburn Bros. Electrics help in putting on the State conference has finally been delivered. Again thanks guys it would have been difficult without your help!
New Business: None
Education & Membership: Don Brindley stated that membership is falling off and that several existing members are not renewing their memberships, please help get the word out that their membership is greatly appreciated and as always we need to look for new members.
Nelson Bonilla with Hubbell gave us a great presentation on GFCI and tamper resistant receptacles.
The next meeting will be held at the “Golden Corral” Restaurant in Palatka at 12:00 noon January 7, 2008.
