1. At 1:30, Paul Cameron rapped the gavel to commence the Sun coast Division meeting. The Pledge to the flag followed and a round robin of introductions took place.
2. The Chair and membership welcomed the guest. [ Steve Crimi ]
3. Education had no report.
4. Membership had no report.
5. Janelle report by Rob from New Port Richey stated, the ruling stands as status quo. Question on how this rule would apply to multifamily housing with fire places and grills in garage areas. Gary Snodgrass will research this rule with the Fire Marshal over the use of gas dryers, fossil fuel, and other gas products.

7. New Business October 14 & 15 TAC meeting 8:00 am public comments, 10:00 am carbon monoxide detectors, 1:00 pm NEC updates.
8. October 15, at 8:30 Florida Building Commission at 1:00 pm discussion to adopt the 2008 code in its entirety.
9. Motion was made to adopt the 2008 code by the Suncoast Division of the IAEI and to send three representatives; they will be Gene, Gary, and John.
10. Vote on the motion to accept, carried with none opposed.
11. President Paul Cameron will write a letter in support of adopting the code in it’s entirety for the three representatives. (Letter on file with the Secretary )
12. Discussion on licensure and Qualifications for solar energy systems requirements.
13. Steve Crimi gave a demonstration on the use and the efficiency on L E D lighting.
14. E.C.F. meeting on October 13, Neal will give a two hour class.
