IAEI Treasure Coast Chapter Meeting

President Joe Ferreira called the meeting to order at 4:10pm

A roll call of officers was taken

Secretary Vince Della Croce made a motion to accept the minutes of the November meeting as emailed. The motion was seconded and accepted.

Treasurer Tom Haldane reported the division was solvent.

Old business:
* Vince Della Croce reported the code change seminar was still planned for sometime in March.

*Vince, on behalf of the entire division, thanked past President Joe Ferreira for all his time and effort devoted to our organization.

*Vince reminded the officers and BOD that they were welcome to attend the Southern meeting Jan. 10th in Altamonte Springs.

*Joe Ferreira spoke concerning street and or site lighting. He stated that FPL or publicly owned lighting does not require a building permit to be installed. Privately owned lighting does require a building permit.

*Scott Bruhn from Martin County reported that as of March 1st 2009, open trench inspections will be required for underground installations.

*Vince Della Croce shared a power point presentation concerning NEC 2008 Article 110.26A-G

*The pending State requirement for journeyman licensure was discussed

The meeting was adjourned at 5:50pm
