North Florida Division
March 4, 2009



Robert Marvel called the meeting to order on March 4, 2009 at the Golden Corral Restaurant in Palatka at 12:05 PM. Don Brindley led us in Prayer & the Pledge.

Present at the meeting were: Dallas Stratton, Wes Colley, Robert Marvel, Joff Filion, Edwin Garcia, Richard Davis, Charles Crain, Phil Dunnington, Fernando Gonzales, Dennis King, Steve Morsel, Charles Grebe, Michael Targonsk, Don Schlueter, Kevin Morgan, Don Brindley, John Griffin, Doug Derousie, Mike Adamson, William Gwin, Karen Gwin, Andrew Schirmacher, Dwight Wilkes, Jimmy Douglas, Ricardo Cavallino, Allen Weiss, and Alan L Waters.

A motion was made to accept last month’s minutes as written, it was seconded. The motion carried.
Treasury Report: Dallas Stratton reported that all bills are paid and we are solvent. A motion was made to approve the Treasurer’s report and pay all bills. A second was made. The motion carried.

Old Business: None
New Business: Robert Marvel appointed Jimmy Douglas Chairman for the Officer Nominating Committee, helping Jimmy will be Dwight Wilkes and Joff Filion.

Education & Membership: Don Brindley reported our membership at 147 paid members.
Allen Weiss with Sesco Lighting spoke on the Florida Energy Code as it applies to the 2007 Florida Building Code.
Dallas Stratton won the 50/50 drawing.
The next meeting will be held at the “Golden Corral” Restaurant in Palatka at 12:00 noon April 1, 2009.

From US17 take US19 South Approx. ¼ mile south of the intersection with SR100 on the Left
