Training & Development

BASIC FUNCTION:

Evaluates new supervisory employees and provides company specific training. Creates, modifies and updates company training based modules as necessary.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Presents training programs on a range of topics based on company’s policy and procedures. Training Modules will include, but are not limited to: History, Mission and Values, company’s organizational structure, critical company philosophies and order of operations. Partners with Department Manager to design and develop new training materials and curriculum. Updates, maintains, and customizes training modules; provides a comprehensive analysis to ensure programs are relevant and targeted to business need. Helps create and administer practical tests to assess candidate qualifications in each of the modules. Ensures alternative delivery methods are available to meet the needs of the field in the future. Partners with colleagues to ensure implementation of programs is coordinated successfully. Evaluates and tracks effectiveness of programs; makes adjustments necessary. Stays abreast of trends in training and development by attending workshops and seminars. Researches, develops, and enhances new and existing educational programs and delivery methods.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of High School degree, Must have minimum of 3-5 years of electrical field experience, Previous instructing experience preferred, Excellent written and oral skills, Basic computer/office skills (i.e. Microsoft Office, email), Strong project management skills, Results and goal oriented, Self motivated, high initiative, Strong problem solving and judgment, Have the ability to lead and facilitate small and large group classrooms
