North Florida Division
April 1, 2009



NOTICE: NO MEETING WILL BE HELD AT THE GOLDEN CORAL RESTAURANT FOR THE MONTH OF MAY, IN LIEU OF THE STATE MEETING.

Richard Davis called the meeting to order on April 1, 2009 at the Golden Corral Restaurant in Palatka at 12:00 PM. John Griffin led us in Prayer & the Pledge.

Present at the meeting were: Dallas Stratton, Wes Colley, Robert Marvel, Joff Filion, Edwin Garcia, Richard Davis, Charles Crain, Phil Dunnington, Fernando Gonzales, Charles Grebe, Don Schlueter, John Griffin, Andrew Schirmacher, Jimmy Douglas, Gregory Ferrone, Eric Brunn, and Alan L Waters.

A motion was made to accept last month’s minutes as written, it was seconded. The motion carried.

Treasury Report: Dallas Stratton reported that all bills are paid and we are solvent. A motion was made to approve the Treasurer’s report and pay all bills. A second was made. The motion carried.

Old Business: None

New Business: A motion was made to pay the expenses for our Divisions Directors to attend the State Conference, due to the reduction in travel expenses from various jurisdictions. The motion was adjusted by adding an $800.00 cap. The motion passed with one nay vote (cap to low).

A motion was made to pay the restaurant servers gratuity through the treasurer, in turn having the treasurer collect the gratuity from the members. This motion was tabled for further discussion.

Education & Membership: This month we had in a representative from GCA, he showed us some of the new products from various suppliers of electrical products, such as BRK and Thomas & Betts.

No membership report was given this month.

Jimmy Douglas won the 50/50 drawing.

The next meeting will be held at the “Golden Corral” Restaurant in Palatka at 12:00 noon June 3, 2009.

From US17 take US19 South Approx. ¼ mile south of the intersection with SR100 on the Left
