Richard Davis called the meeting to order on June 3, 2009 at the Golden Corral Restaurant in Palatka at 12:00 PM. John Griffin led us in Prayer & the Pledge.

Present at the meeting were: Dallas Stratton, Wes Colley, Don Brindley, Edwin Garcia, Richard Davis, Charles Crain, Phil Dunnington, Charles Grebe, Don Schlueter, John Griffin, Jimmy Douglas, Joff Filion, Raymond Smith, Joe Roesler, and Alan Waters.

A motion was made to accept last month’s minutes as written, it was seconded. The motion carried.

Treasury Report: Dallas Stratton reported that all bills are paid and we are solvent. A motion was made to approve the Treasurer’s report and pay all bills. A second was made. The motion carried.

Old Business: The new officers where sworn into office, they are as follows:
President- Richard Davis
Vice President- Charles Grebe
Secretary- Alan Waters
Treasurer- Dallas Stratton

New Business: Jimmy Douglas brought the proposed changes for the next generation of by-laws back from the State meeting. We discussed the changes between all the officers prior to the meeting and agreed with them excluding a small change in verbiage concerning the number of officers. It was presented at the meeting and a motion was made to send in the signed changes plus corrections. Those where sent to Bill Pancake the next day.

Wes Colley with the ECF thanked Raymond Smith with Cogburn Electric for them joining the ECF as a corporate member.

Jimmy Douglas asked who would be interested in an inspector class concerning solar.

Education & Membership: Don Brindley reported we are at 149 members.
Don discussed several code questions that where brought up during the last State Conference held at Destin, Florida.
This month we had in a representative from OSHA who gave us a presentation concerning hazards and health programs, thanks Joe.

The next meeting will be held at the “Golden Corral” Restaurant in Palatka at 12:00 noon July 1, 2009.

From US17 take US19 South Approx. ¼ mile south of the intersection with SR100 on the Left
