Hello Everyone,

Following the success of the July 25th Solar PV Seminar, I would like to start making plans for the next seminar to possibly be held before the end of this year. I would like to keep the class to around 5 hours and at the low cost of $50. After speaking with several members and other electrical professionals in the area, our President Bud Keefer and I feel a Grounding and Bonding Seminar based on the 2008 NEC and presented by John Minick of NEMA would be of great interest.


For those of you that don’t know John Minick, John serves as the Chair of the NFPA 70 – National Electrical Code, Code Making Panel No. 1 as the representative of the National Electrical Manufacturers Association and has been a long supporter of the IAEI and Florida Chapter. John is a true expert of the electrical industry and the NEC.


I am hoping to open a discussion on this matter at our August 19th Meeting and would some feed-back or other ideas from the membership and anyone else interested in some continuing education. Feel free to contact me or Bud Keefer with your ideas or suggestions and come to meeting on the 19th to voice your opinions.
