Gulf Coast Division
Regular Meeting: (October 21, 2009)

The October meeting of the Gulf Coast Division was called to order by the President Bud Keefer. After the Pledge of Allegiance and membership introductions, the minutes of the September Meeting were approved as written. A motion was made to postpone committee reports until next meeting to allow time for this month’s presentation.

Jeff Small of General Electric presented a 1.5 hour CEU course on Selective Coordination and the National Electrical Code. The class was vey interesting and well done. The presentation was followed by a question and answer session.

Following the presentation, a brief discussion was opened on the subject of forming a new committee on solar PV related topics. A motion was made to table the matter so that it could be discussed by the executive committee.

Gary Richards of TUV will be the speaker at November’s meeting.

Meeting was adjoined at 2:30 PM. Our next meeting will be a joint meeting the Building Officials Association of Florida on November 18, 2009.
