Has Florida adopted the UL325 standard for automatic gates?

Yes. That standard is referenced in Section 309.6 of the FBC - R. The edition referenced is the 2002 with revisions through March 2003.

I was reading through the summary of UL325 and I am not sure I have ever seen a compliant gate.

I just looked and that section only refers to the garage door in a dwelling. The standard also references the automatic gates you see in these communities, parking lots and other commercial applications. It imposes basically the same requirement on gates as you have on the garage door.
