Regular Meeting: (June, 2010)

The June meeting of the Gulf Coast Division was a joint meeting with the local Building Officials Association of Florida Chapter. As the guest of the meeting, President Robert Romano motioned the Division to table all business until the July Meeting as to allow for Building Officials Association of Florida to conduct its business and presentation. Secretary Bryan Holland updated the attendees on upcoming dates to remember including the July Meeting agenda.

The Building Officials Association of Florida presentation was given by Greg Yantorno of Sarasota County on the topic of Ethics. This 1hr CEU presentation covered the key aspects of FS 112 and FS 468 in regard to the ethical conduct of public employees. A question and answer session followed the presentation.



41 Members and Guest of the IAEI and Building Officials Association of Florida were present for the meeting.


Meeting was adjoined at 2:00 PM. Our next meeting will be held on July 21, 2010.
