Regular Meeting: (July, 2010)

The July meeting of the Gulf Coast Division was called to order by President Robert Romano. Secretary Bryan Holland updated the attendees on upcoming dates to remember, membership numbers, and IAEI news.

Committee Reports:

Bennett Rosenberger and Wes Colley updated the membership on ECF news and events. Tommy Lasprogato updated the membership on the development of a “Chapter Meeting Committee” being established to take on the duties and responsibilities of hosting and conducting the Chapter Meeting and Seminar in 2013.

Code Discussion:

Secretary Bryan Holland opened a discussion on a recent letter published by UL regarding Standard 1081 and GFCI protection of pool pumps. Gregg Brown opened a discussion on “e-metering” equipment permitting and inspection requirements.

Presentation:

Secretary Bryan Holland gave a presentation on the Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory Program. This was a free 1-hour Advance Module CE Course.


Meeting was adjoined at 2:00 PM. Our next meeting will be held on August 18, 2010.
