Regular Meeting: (August, 2010)

The August meeting of the Gulf Coast Division was called to order by President Robert Romano. Secretary Bryan Holland was not present at the meeting but forwarded a copy of the Secretaries Report to the membership prior to meeting.

Committee Reports:

Wes Colley updated the membership on ECF news and events. Tommy Lasprogato updated the membership on Chapter Meeting developments. Jim Kenna notified the membership that Matt Ross will give a presentation at the September Meeting on LED lighting.

Mark Deegan opened a discussion on member representation at the 2010 Southern Section Meeting. A motion was made to support sending Tommy Lasprogato to attend the meeting as a representative of the Gulf Coast Division and Florida Chapter. The membership approved the motion.

Product Discussion:

Bill Nally brought in a display of LED lightning being locally manufactured and sold.

Presentation:

Kevin Bouton of Leviton gave a presentation on new products and lighting management systems. A question and answer session followed.

Meeting was adjoined at 2:00 PM. Our next meeting will be held on September 15, 2010.
