1. This is the Suncoast Division‘s annual meeting. All members are urged to attend so that the membership may present topics or issues to be addressed this coming year.
2. Report from Nominating Committee. Floor nominations accepted.
3. Request for those individuals planning to attend the Diamond Anniversary of the IAEI are asked to respond via questionnaire before the January Florida Chapter Board of Directors Meeting. Questions can be directed to Joe Bolesina for additional information.
4. A request has been made for the Suncoast Division to write a code proposal regarding Article 336 and 338 concerning the temperature rating of SE cable. Comments are invited at this meeting.
5. PCCLB: November 21,2000 enforcement of amendment to Article 90-99 section 3(a) Permits When Required:
“…… except no permit shall be required for surge protection work of a casual, minor or inconsequential nature in which the aggregate contract price for labor, materials, and all other items is less than $500.00 but this exemption does not apply when the work is part of a larger or major operation whether undertaken by the same or a different contractor or in which a division of the operation is made in contracts of amounts less than $500.00 for the purposes of evading this part or otherwise.”
