President Jimmy Douglas called the meeting to order @ 12 P.M. and led the opening prayer and Pledge of Allegiance. Jimmy had everyone introduce themselves to the group.

Present at the meeting were:
Michael Timpanaro, Greg Ferrone, Dwight Wilkes, Jimmy Douglas, Andrew Schirmacher, Edwin Garcia, Joff Filion, Carl Desha, Jeff James, John Freeland, Don Schlueter and Dallas Stratton.

Treasury Report:
Dallas Stratton reported that all bills are paid and we are solvent. A motion was made to approve the Treasurer’s report and pay all bills. The motion was seconded and approved.

Membership:
Jimmy Douglas stated that we presently have 116 members and there are 31 members whose dues are in arrears.

Old Business:
Dwight Wilkes discussed updates for the Florida Building Commision.

New Business:
Jimmy Douglas discussed email from Wes Colley where he indicated that he will be unable to attend our monthly meetings anymore. On behalf of the North Florida Division Jimmy expressed our gratitude and thanks Wes for all he has done for our Division!

Education
Mike Timpanaro brought up info on a Siemens (Murray) breaker recall for 15-50A, both single and double pole breakers. (for additional information visit www.usa.siemens.com)

Mike gave a report for the seminar held in Sumter Co. last month. There were 119 attendees. Doug Harvey, with BAOF, stated that the Building Officials Association of Florida will not be offering electrical CEU classes in the future. This should help us when we do our seminars.

There was an open discussion about possibly doing 2-one day seminars (Sat only) next year instead of 1-two day seminar (Sat. & Sun.).
