By the way, this doesn't apply to the NEC alone. You can get pdf documents of many of the other standards such as the NFPA 780 (78) for lightning protection, and the NFPA 13 for Fire Sprinkler SYstems for example... Most dating back to the early 1900's and before in some cases...
