The November Meeting of the Florida Gulf Coast Division was called to order by Secretary Bryan Holland. The Secretary’s Report was approved by the membership. The membership welcomed Past-Secretary Pete Pluta & the members of the Florida Gulf Coast Chapter of the Building Officials Association of Florida to the meeting. Secretary Bryan Holland gave a report on important dates to remember & future meeting agenda’s.

Nominations were made for 2012 - 2nd Vice President. One nomination came from Tommy Lasprogato for Rikki Ball of REI Electric. No other nominations were made. Voting will take place at the December Meeting.

Greg Yantorno of the Building Officials Association of Florida gave report on Building Officials Association of Florida business & news.

This month’s presentation was given by Dr. Jeffrey Stone of the Building Officials Association of Florida. Dr. Stone updated the members & attendees on Building Officials Association of Florida programs, benefits, & educational opportunities. A questions & answer session followed.

The meeting was adjourned at 2:00 PM. Our next meeting will be held on December 21st. A presentation will be given by Jim Hunter of Hayward Pool Products & Bryan Holland on Electrical Provisions of the FBC.
